The Holocaust is a hard subject to talk about with students, and in general.  For Jews, this time was more than heinous.  In the graphic novel Hidden, the authors tell the story of a young Jewish girl who was hidden away from the Nazis, while her parents were taken to concentration camps.  Will she ever see her parents again?  What is right and wrong in a situation such as this?  This novel approaches this subject with such sensitivity, while remaining true and approaching hard subjects.  This novel would be a good addition to a Grade 5,6, or 7 text set on World War II or the Holocaust.
